These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website nmolegal.com operated by NMO Legal - Legal Consultancy, led by Adv. Nisreen Massarwi Odeh (“NMOLegal”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”), including any content, materials, booking tools, forms, events, newsletters, and related services made available through the website (collectively, the “Website”).
 
By accessing, browsing, viewing, interacting with, submitting information through, or otherwise using the Website or any part thereof, You acknowledge and confirm that You have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Our Privacy Policy, as they may be amended from time to time, and that you are entering into a binding legal agreement with NMOLegal.

Our Services are intended for business clients and professionals and are not directed to children (persons under the age of 18). By accessing or using the Website or contacting us through it, You represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years old and have the legal right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms.
 
If You do not agree to these Terms, or if you lack the legal capacity or authority to be bound by them, You must immediately refrain from and discontinue any access to or use of the Website and any Services, content, or materials made available through it.

1. Scope and Applicability

These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Website, including individuals who:

  • browse or read content on the Website;

  • book consultation calls or legal Services;

  • contact NMOLegal via contact forms or email;

  • subscribe to mailing lists, newsletters, or updates;

  • register for events, webinars, or workshops;

  • download materials, guides, templates, or resources.


References to “You” or “User” mean any person accessing or using the Website.
 
2. Services

2.1. We provide professional consulting and legal advisory services (the “Services”) in the areas of:

  • Data protection and privacy laws (GDPR / Israeli Privacy Protection Regulations);

  • Artificial intelligence governance and regulation;

  • Advisory services to FemTech ventures, founders, and investors on ethical and culturally sensitive innovation in this field.


3. NO LEGAL ADVICE; NO ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP

3.1. Informational Purposes Only: All content published on the Website, including blog posts, articles, guides, downloadable materials, newsletters, and event materials, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

3.2. Nothing on the Website constitutes, or should be construed as, legal advice, a legal opinion, or a substitute for obtaining legal advice tailored to your specific circumstances.

3.3. No Attorney-Client Relationship: Accessing or using the Website, contacting NMOLegal, subscribing to mailing lists, or downloading materials does not create anattorney-client relationship between You and NMOLegal.

3.4. An attorney-client relationship shall only be formed pursuant to a separate, written engagement agreement approved by NMOLegal.

4. Booking of Calls and Services

4.1. The Website may allow Users to request or book consultation calls or legal services.
Any booking is subject to availability; confirmation by NMOLegal; and applicable fees and booking conditions displayed at the time of booking.

4.2. NMOLegal reserves the right to decline, reschedule, or cancel any booking request at its sole discretion.

4.3. Excessive, Abusive, or Misuse of Booking System

4.3.1. NMOLegal reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or block access to booking tools where there is evidence of: (i) excessive or repeated booking requests; (ii) no- shows or late cancellations; (iii) abusive, automated, or manipulative use of booking systems; (iv) use of bookings for purposes unrelated to legitimate legal inquiries.

4.3.2. NMOLegal shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, cost, or adverse consequence, whether direct or indirect, arising out of or in connection with the implementation of such restrictions, except to the extent required by applicable mandatory law.

4.4. Fees, Refund and Cancellations

4.4.1. All fees charged by Us are earned upon booking or engagement, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

4.4.2. Except where required by applicable mandatory law, fees are non-refundable, whether in whole or in part.

4.4.3. Consultation Calls and Meetings

a. A scheduled consultation call or meeting may be cancelled or rescheduled by the User or client by providing written notice at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled time.

b. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than forty-eight (48)hours in advance, as well as failure to attend a scheduled call or meeting, may, at Our discretion, be treated as performed and counted toward the applicable quote, package, or engagement, without refund or credit.

c. We reserve the right to limit or refuse future bookings in cases of repeated late cancellations or no-shows.

4.4.4. Legal Services and Engagements

a. Fees paid for legal services, retainers, fixed-fee services, or service packages are non-refundable once work has commenced.

b. Where an engagement is terminated prior to completion, any refund (if applicable) shall be limited solely to the portion of fees corresponding to services not yet performed, as determined by NMOLegal in good faith and subject to applicable law.

4.4.5. Events, Workshops, and Webinars

a. Registration fees for events, workshops, or webinars are non-refundable, unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of registration.

b. We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule events. In such cases, NMOLegal may offer rescheduling, credit, or refund at its discretion, unless otherwise required by law.

4.4.6. Digital Content and Downloadable Materials

c. Fees paid for access to digital content, downloadable materials, templates, guides, or recordings are non-refundable, once access has been granted or the material has been delivered.

d. This applies regardless of whether the content has been downloaded, accessed, or used.

4.4.7. Cancellation by the Firm

a. NMOLegal may cancel or reschedule a consultation, service, or event where necessary due to professional, legal, or personal reasons.

b. In such cases, notice shall be provided as soon as reasonably practicable after the reason for cancellation becomes known, and We will use reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date or solution.

4.4.8. We shall not be liable for any loss, cost, or inconvenience arising from such cancellation, except as required by applicable mandatory law.

5. Contact Forms, Mailing Lists, and Communications

5.1. Users may contact NMOLegal or subscribe to mailing lists through the Website. You agree that:

5.1.1. information provided by You is accurate and lawful;

5.1.2. You will not submit confidential, sensitive, or privileged information unless expressly requested by NMOLegal;

5.1.3. communications through the Website do not create an attorney-client relationship.

5.1.4. We will obtain Your consent where required by law, and You may withdraw such consent anytime by pressing in the “Unsubscribe” button in messages You received from us; or by sending us an email to Nisreen@nmolegal.com.

5.1.5. Personal data submitted through the Website is processed in accordance with NMOLegal’s Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

6. Events, Registration, and Downloadable Materials

6.1. The Website may include registration forms for events and access to downloadable materials which are all subject to Section 3 (No Legal Advice) and the conditions set in these Terms.

6.2. Unless expressly stated otherwise:

6.2.1. registrations are personal and non-transferable;
6.2.2. materials are provided for personal or internal informational use only;
6.2.3. NMOLegal may modify, postpone, or cancel events at its discretion.
6.2.4. NMOLegal does not guarantee the availability, completeness, or continued access
to any materials or events.


7. NMOLegal INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1. Users acknowledge that all content available on the Website, including without limitation: text, articles, blog posts, publications, PDF files, guides, templates, presentations, downloadable materials, designs, logos, trade names, graphics, images, branding, structure, and layout, legal insights, methodologies, and know-how, interfaces, code, software, and the selection and arrangement thereof, as well as any related documentation and all enhancements, derivatives, or improvements; is, and shall at all times remain the exclusive intellectual property of NMOLegal and/or Adv. Nisreen Massarwi Odeh, unless expressly stated otherwise.

7.2. You may access, view and use the Website solely in accordance with these Terms and for personal, non-commercial use only.

7.3. Without the prior written consent of NMOLegal, no content may be:

7.3.1. copied, reproduced, modified, used for creating derivative works;
7.3.2. distributed, licensed, sold, publicly displayed, published, repurposed, or translated;
7.3.3. used in training, consulting, products, or services- including marketing activities;
7.3.4. incorporated into AI systems, databases, or automated tools;

7.4. You are strictly prohibited from removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright, trademark, service mark, or other proprietary rights notices incorporated in the Website. All trademarks appearing on the Website are the property of their respective owners.

7.5. Any unauthorized use of the Website content, including scraping, data mining, systematic extraction, or use for competitive or commercial purposes, constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may give rise to legal action.
 
8. User Obligations

8.1. You declare that while accessing, browsing, viewing, interacting with, submitting information through, or otherwise using the Website or any part thereof, You agree not to:
8.1.1. misuse the Website or interfere with its operation;
8.1.2. submit false, misleading, or unlawful or abusive materials;
8.1.3. infringe the intellectual property or rights of NMOLegal or third parties;
8.1.4. use the Website in a manner that could harm NMOLegal’s reputation or professional standing.


9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

9.1. The Website is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind.

9.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NMOLegal disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

9.3. Without limiting the foregoing, NMOLegal does not warrant that:
a. The Website will be error-free or that errors will be corrected;
b. The Website’s performance, or the quality, or usefulness of any information provided therein;
c. The Website will be free from technical inaccuracies, programming errors, or typographical errors;
d. The Website will be free of computer viruses or other harmful components.


9.4. Your use of the Website, including the downloading or acquisition of any material or content, is at your sole risk, and you agree that you are solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data resulting therefrom.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

10.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, You acknowledge and agree that You assume all risks arising from Your access to and use of the Website.

10.2. NMOLegal and/or any party involved in the creation, production or delivery of the Website shall not be liable for reliance on Website content; loss of business, data, or opportunities; indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages; misuse of booking systems or downloadable materials.

10.3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

11. Indemnification

11.1. You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NMOLegal and Adv. Nisreen Massarwi Odeh (“Indemnitees”) from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and legal expenses) incurred by Indemnitees inconnection with any claim, demand, action, lawsuit, or other proceeding, whether brought by you or by a third party, arising directly or indirectly out of:

a. Any breach of these Terms by You or by any person using Your computer or
mobile device;
b. Any claim, loss, or damage arising from Your use of, or attempt to use, the
Website, including any content or message you transmit through the Website;
c. Your violation of any applicable law or regulation;
d. Your infringement of any third-party right.

12. Term, Termination and Restriction of Access

12.1. Unless determined otherwise by NMOLegal, these Terms shall take effect upon Your access to the Website and/or registration for newsletters or mailing lists and shall remain in effect until the occurrence of the earliest of: (i) Your cessation of Website use or request to unsubscribe; OR (ii) Your breach of any of these Terms or any applicable law.

12.2. NMOLegal reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate (“Termination”) access to the Website or any part thereof, without notice or liability, in cases of misuse, legal risk, or breach of these Terms.

12.3. Upon Termination, You must immediately cease all use of the Website. Termination shall not constitute a waiver of any rights or remedies available to NMOLegal or Adv. Nisreen Massarwi Odeh under law or equity.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

13.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with NMOLegal’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

14.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Israel.

14.2. Exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the competent courts in Tel Aviv, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

15. Amendments

15.1. NMOLegal reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, amend, or update these Terms and/or the content of the Website at any time and without prior notice,including changes that modify or remove functionalities previously available.

15.2. In the event of such changes to these Terms or to our Privacy Policy, NMOLegal will post a notice on the Website’s homepage to inform you thereof and, where required, to obtain your renewed consent.

15.3. Without derogating from any obligation under applicable laws, Your continued use of the Website shall constitute your acceptance of the amended Terms.

16. MISCELLANEOUS

16.1. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16.2. Notices and Communications: By providing contact details through registration, contact forms, or email correspondence, You consent to receive communications from NMOLegal and Adv. Nisreen Massarwi Odeh, by electronic means, including email, SMS, text messages, or telephone calls. Electronic notices shall be deemed received
upon transmission.


16.3. Assignment: NMOLegal and Adv. Nisreen Massarwi Odeh may assign their rights and obligations under these Terms. Users may not assign any rights hereunder, and any attempted assignment shall be null and void.

16.4. Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior agreements relating to the subject matter, unless agreed by NMOLegal in writing.
